Kiwi Orchid Bark and other bark based products are manufactured at our Waitara (New Plymouth) based plant. 

Kiwi Orchid Bark is primarily used to grow orchids in but can also be used as ornamental bark and in reptile enclosures due to its high quality and natural state. 
All our bark is sourced from sustainable Pinus Radiata forestry operations throughout New Zealand.
The bark from these trees makes perfect orchid growing media due to its hardness which in turn makes the bark long lasting meaning less repotting for growers.
The natural Ph level of the bark and our ability to process fresh bark within days of the trees being felled, allows the bark to maintain its structure for longer with little to no Ph fluctuation, leading to healthier root systems.

Our specialized plant with over 20 years of redesigning and refining processes means the bark comes out uniform and clean in 5 different grades to meet all your growing needs. 

We export to the USA, Taiwan, Tahiti, Vietnam, China and Australia to name a few and can take care of all your countries biosecurity requirements.

Locally, Bark Express our retail side, can supply and deliver garden bark, mulch and potting mixes all around New Plymouth with our little blue truck, or just come in and pick up.
